Embroidered altar cloth “Golden Chalice” is a proposal that beautifully captures the Eucharistic dimension of the liturgy. The embroidery depicting a chalice crowned with the monogram IHS, surrounded by ears of grain and foliage, symbolizes the Sacrifice of Christ and the communion of the faithful. In the iconography of the Church, the chalice represents the presence of the Lord in the Eucharist, while the ears evoke bread – the fruit of the earth and the work of human hands, transformed into the Body of Christ.
The decoration, executed with precision, runs along both the front and sides of the cloth, making it perfectly visible from every side of the altar. The embroidery measures 98 cm in width and 34 cm in height, creating a harmonious, legible composition that imparts a distinctive character to the sacred space. The material of the cloth is 100% polyester in a stain-resistant version — thus, the textiles are practical, durable, do not absorb moisture, and maintain an elegant appearance even with frequent use.
This model is perfectly suited for all Eucharistic celebrations: Holy Mass on Sundays and feast days, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, devotions, and parish celebrations. The aesthetics of the cloth bring harmony, liturgical dignity, and visual coherence to the presbytery.
The cloth is available in lengths up to 4 meters. For altars with non-standard dimensions, there is the possibility to order a custom length, tailored with the utmost precision.
