The presented liturgical embroidered lace “Calvario” has been designed as an elegant complement to the altar cloth. The pattern based on the cross motif, grapes, and wheat ears directly refers to the Eucharist: Bread and Wine become the Body and Blood of Christ, and the decoration itself reminds the faithful of the spiritual significance of the liturgy. The subtle purple embroidery fits into sacred symbolism and gives the whole a dignified, liturgical character.
The lace is made of stain-resistant fabric 100% polyester, which allows it to maintain an elegant appearance even with frequent use. It is resistant to dirt and easy to care for — it can be washed at 30°C, using detergent suitable for colors. The absence of softening agents helps maintain the structure of the threads and the intensity of the embroidery. Width 15 cm ensures a proportional, aesthetic finish to the altar cloth that does not overwhelm but serves as a subtle decorative accent.
The “Calvario” model works perfectly in both parish churches and chapels, where attention to liturgical aesthetics is part of the preparation for the celebration. The richness of the embroidery’s symbolism and the quality of workmanship make the lace not only a decoration but also a carrier of spiritual message.
