Embroidered Napkin Cathedral is a liturgical altar overlay designed for aesthetic order and symbolic clarity in sacred space. The format 95×95 cm makes the napkin ideal for the main or side altar, introducing order and harmony during Eucharistic celebrations.
Motif IHS, present in the Church’s tradition for centuries as a sign of the name of Jesus and His Eucharistic presence, is captured in a balanced, symmetrical composition. Small crosses arranged along the edges give the whole a rhythm inspired by cathedral architecture, emphasizing the solemnity and dignity of the liturgy. The ornamentation remains modest and orderly, ensuring it does not dominate the altar space but rather organizes and ennobles it.
The napkin is made of high-quality polyester, a material impregnated and resistant to stains, which facilitates maintenance and allows for a long-lasting aesthetic appearance. The precision of execution is evident in the clarity of the embroidery and the carefully finished edges, which retain their shape even with regular liturgical use.
Embroidered Napkin Cathedral is intended for church use as a standalone overlay or as part of a cohesive set of altar textiles, creating an elegant and consistent liturgical arrangement.
Urbanowicz Haft Polska – tradition and craftsmanship that give the liturgy a dignified, timeless form.
