Embroidered chasuble with the chalice motif Prelato in purple is a liturgical vestment designed for periods of deep reflection, prayer, and inner focus. The color purple has accompanied Advent and Lent for centuries, leading us into a space of spiritual preparation. The vestment is made from elegant jacquard fabric, adorned with a subtle floral pattern, whose soft texture and natural drape emphasize the dignified character of the celebration.
The central element is a richly decorated galloon, crafted on fabric with a light, luminous finish, referred to in the workshop as Golden Mist. The precisely crafted ornaments depict grapes, wheat ears, and eucharistic motifs, creating a coherent iconography referring to the Eucharistic Sacrifice. The composition is complemented by hand-set stones, which give the vestment a noble, discreet shine. Their arrangement does not overwhelm but subtly highlights the significance of the symbols.
The jacquard from which the entire piece is made is soft, lightweight, and very pleasant to use. It drapes naturally, following the movement of the priest, making the vestment look equally beautiful on the altar as in procession. The care in tailoring is evident in every detail – from even seams, through edge finishing, to the proportions of the central band, ensuring the whole maintains a harmonious balance.
An internal matching stole, sewn from the same jacquard fabric, is included with the chasuble, reinforcing the visual and liturgical coherence of the whole. The “Prelato” model was created for priests seeking a vestment that is elegant, classic in form, and rich in symbolic content, yet without excessive decoration.
Meticulously crafted in every respect, the embroidered chasuble with the chalice motif Prelato is the perfect choice for celebrations requiring a solemn, spiritually focused setting.
