Silk chasuble in gold, richly embroidered with a motif of decorative crosses, hand-adorned with stones and pearls
An exceptional liturgical chasuble along with an inner stole, made from a noble fabric composed of 85% silk and 15% lamé silk (metal threads wrapped around natural silk fibers). The material features a beautiful metallic sheen, which, combined with the rich embroidery, gives the vestment an extraordinarily elegant and dignified character. The carefully tailored cut and the nobility of the materials used emphasize the solemn dimension of liturgical celebrations.
The central band of the chasuble, made of 100% silk shantung, is adorned with a rich, symmetrical composition of embroidered crosses set within round medallions. Each is surrounded by intricate ornaments of a classical character, referring to traditional sacred art. The recurring motifs of the cross, decorative rosettes, and subtle floral embellishments create a harmonious whole, the central message of which is the symbol of the Christ Cross – a sign of faith, redemption, and the victory of life over death.
The particular value of the vestment lies in the hand-sewn decorative stones and pearls, carefully arranged in the central parts of the embroidered crosses and within the rich ornaments. The deep ruby color of the stones, the subtle shine of the pearls, and the golden threads of the embroidery create a harmonious composition of exceptional elegance. Every detail has been precisely crafted, highlighting the artistry of hand embellishment and the solemn character of the vestment.
Both the front and back of the chasuble are adorned with an identical, richly embroidered composition, based on a vertical band with repeating medallions, in which decorative crosses occupy the central place. They are surrounded by intricate ornaments, decorative rosettes, and symmetrically arranged stones and pearls. The repetition of motifs on both sides of the vestment gives it exceptional coherence and emphasizes the care taken in its execution.
The whole is complemented by a inner stole, whose ends are adorned with embroidered crosses stylistically referring to the main composition of the chasuble. The vestment is finished with decorative Italian metallic passementerie, running along the edges, central band, and collar. The stiffened collar ensures an elegant arrangement during the celebration.
The silk chasuble richly embroidered with the motif of the cross is intended for particularly solemn celebrations of the Holy Mass, solemnities of the Lord, parish indulgences, priestly jubilees, first Masses, and other important events in the life of the Church.
This is an exceptional liturgical vestment, in which natural silk, exquisite embroidery, rich Christian symbolism, and the precision of hand embellishment create a coherent composition worthy of the most solemn celebrations.
