Embroidered Application IHS is designed to subtly yet distinctly highlight the mystery of the Eucharist. The first glance at the embroidered application “IHS” reveals a coherent composition: the chalice, the host with the IHS monogram, surrounded by tendrils of vine, ears of grain, and clusters of grapes.
Each element carries deep meaning — bread and wine symbolize the gifts brought to God, IHS reminds us of Christ’s presence, and the vine and grain speak of human labor, which is transformed in the liturgy. Thus, the application becomes not only an ornament but also a discreet catechesis accompanying the celebration.
Precise embroidery ensures readability, durability, and elegance, while balanced proportions allow the motif to beautifully adorn various sacred textiles. Delicate contours and harmonious colors create a sense of peace and dignity.
The application is excellently suited as an addition to chasubles, stoles, banners, altar cloths, and communion decorations, both in new creations and during the renovation of vestments.
